Cam started Paper Portal Used Books in fall 2021, initially selling books on Instagram. He opened and ran a brick-and-mortar bookstore from April 2023 - January 2025. He currently operates Paper Portal as an online bookstore, selling books on Instagram, Etsy, and eBay, as well as regularly appearing at pop-up markets in Seattle and beyond.

Paper Portal curates a splendid blend of vintage and used books, with an emphasis on sci-fi, fantasy, fiction, mythology, and folklore.

Past events organized by Cam via Paper Portal Used Books have included book clubs, free book swaps, open mics, movie viewings, pop-up markets, and reading events. Future events TBD!
